Taste of the Beach returns March 28-31 with wine tastings, cooking classes, multi-course menu presentations, brewery tours, tapas crawls and cook-offs, to name a few.

The Outer Banks Restaurant Association’s annual celebration of food and wine this year includes more than 50 events at 25 venues, including a paint-and-sip event, salty food art, a barbecue showdown, wine dinners, an ode to Wanchese and an oyster tour.

Locals Night is Friday, March 29 from 5-9 p.m. at the Soundside event site in Nags Head, featuring live entertainment and an outdoor movie under the stars. Local food and beverage vendors will be there, including Sooey’s BBQ, Sal’s New York Pizza, Mulligans Grille, OBX Frozen Yogurt, Outer Banks Brewing Station, Lost Colony Brewery and Café and Weeping Radish Farm Brewery.

Admission to locals night is free with a canned food or $3 donation (per person) to the Beach Food Pantry – just bring cash for food, beverage and any other purchases.
