Mr. Wally G. Wise, 83, died peacefully in Chesapeake, VA on October 6, 2020. A Dare County native, Wally was the son of the late John and Robanna Wise. Besides his parents, Wally greets in heaven his wife, Anges. Wally spent his career years as a lighthouse keeper and engineer in the United States Coast Guard. After his retirement from the military, Wally indulged his passion for NASCAR and antique cars.
Wally Wise leaves behind his son, Oran Wise of Kitty Hawk; two granddaughters, Meghan McMahan of Asheboro, NC; and Taylor Wise of Powells Point, NC; his two brothers, Brian Wise of Kitty Hawk, NC and Shelley Wise of Texas, as well as a host of other relatives and extended family members.
Wally’s funeral will be held graveside Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Austin Cemetery in Kitty Hawk at 11 am. Please express condolences to the family via the online register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
