Tessie Basnight Tillett, age 79, of Manteo, NC passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 in her home.
Tessie was born to Margaret and Andrew Tillett in 1940. She had a number of different jobs throughout her life including stenography, and co-owning Video Andy’s. She truly lived life to the fullest by way of simple pleasures; roaming in her Corvette, hanging with friends and family, knitting, smoking, and drinking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Jill Cote. She is survived by her two brothers, Jack and Andy Tillett of Manteo, nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
