Stanley Scott Nielsen, age 63, of Dukes Court, Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA after a long battle with advanced heart failure.
A native of Orlando, FL, he was born October 26, 1956 to the late Sam Nielsen and Jan McLaren Nielsen and was the husband of Janet Stone-Nielsen. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Coast Guard and later as a government contractor.
In addition to Janet, his wife of 22 years, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Stone and Amanda O’Fallon; two grandchildren, Mason O’Fallon and Piper O’Fallon; a sister, Rhonda Westrum; and brothers, Steve Nielsen, Sean Nielsen and Spencer Nielsen.
