Sharon Anita Lyons, age 66, of Nicole Lane, Poplar Branch, NC died Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her residence. A native of Mobile, AL she was born August 4, 1953 to the late William Stiener Evans and Francine Gloria Wright Evans and was the widow of David Lester Lyons. She worked all her life. She loved and protected her family and was a spitfire. Sharon enjoyed the outdoors; having a good time with friends and was an avid Alabama football fan.
Sharon is survived by a daughter, Veronica A. White of Mobile, AL; a son, William McSpadden (Amy) of Coinjock, NC; grandchildren, Trey White, William White, Cole White, Jacob McSpadden and Seth McSpadden; great grandchildren, Aryia White, Kaden White, Carson White and Elijah White; and a nephew, Brian Evans. She was preceded in death by two brothers Richard W. Evans and Michael I. Evans.
The family extends a special thanks to Sharon’s partners in crime and best friends, Anna and Pinky.
