Rose Delores Wilkerson Whaley, 89 of 206 Bayshore Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Thursday, March 19, 2020 at her residence. She was born March 12, 1931 in Charleston, SC to the late Henry Cornelius Wilkerson and Alma Drusilla Woods Wilkerson and was the widow of Edsel Frank Whaley. She was a homemaker and attended Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet W. Lane and husband Johnny of Elizabeth City, NC; and several special grandchildren. She was also pre-deceased by two sons, Larry Edsel Whaley and Robert Frank Whaley; and a brother, William Wilkerson.
