Patricia Bertelle Fulk, 74, of Manteo, NC died May 30, 2019 of natural causes. She was Born October 23, 1944 and lived most of her life in Maryland. She graduated from Towson State University Summa Cum Laude and went on to work in the insurance industry for over 35 years.
In 1997, Pat moved from Baltimore, MD to the beautiful Outer Banks. Books were Pat’s first love since childhood. She read every day and devoured several books a week throughout her life. Besides her books, Pat had a passion for serving others. She channeled that passion into a volunteer position with the Community Care Clinic that she held faithfully for several years.
Pat is survived by her daughter and only child, Catherine “Cat” Glass of Kill Devil Hills, NC as well as numerous friends. Cat is planning a memorial “Book Party” in the near future. Details will be posted on-line when finalized. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to remember Pat do so with a donation to the Dare County Library System or to the Community Care Clinic.
