Linda Kay Budd, 61, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, passed away from cancer on February 15, 2021. Linda was born in Ponca City, OK on November 15, 1959 to Doyle and Viola Bowen. Linda is preceded in death by her mother Viola Bowen as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding motorcycles, traveling with her husband, and also taking girl trips. She had an infectious smile and even better laugh; she was always up for a good time. She loved her beach days with Leeland and her friends. She was also actively involved in Eagles Club Post 4506 and was very proud to call them her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Joseph Budd of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her daughter, Ashlee Budd; her three grandsons, Leeland, Lincoln and Outlaw all of the Outer Banks; her brother, Robert Bowen (Phyllis) of Ponca City; her father, Doyle Bowen (Judy) also of Ponca City, OK; her brother-in-law, Charles Budd (Darlene) of the Outer Banks; her mother-in-law, Eleanor Taylor of Louisville OH; nieces, Kaycie Childs (Willie) and Sarah Bowen, along with other family and friends.
