The world lost a beloved mother, Julie Dawn Morgan Dominique, age 43, of Newport, New Jersey on Monday, January 18, 2021. Julie was born in Greensboro, NC on May 3, 1977 and grew up in Asheboro, NC. She was educated at William Peace University in Raleigh, NC.
Julie was the amazing wife of Joseph Dominique; dearly loved daughter of Faye R. Morgan of Manteo, NC; and cherished sister of Samantha O’Dell of Manteo, NC.
Julie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She devoted her life to ensuring her children’s success and happiness. She is survived by her children, Destiny, Anne Marie, Joey, Thomas, Sammy, and Armani. She is also survived by two sisters, four nieces, and two nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Sam Morgan, Sr.; brother Sam Morgan, Jr.; aunt Martha Rogers; and grandparents Willie and Mildred Rogers of Manteo, NC.
Julie gave in death as she gave in life; she was an organ donor.
Funeral services and entombment at Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens, Manteo, NC will be held for immediate family only.
