Noosa Scoops OBX commemorates grand opening

(Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce)

On Thursday, August 8, the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of Noosa Scoops OBX, a new and exciting addition to the local business scene. The ceremony took place at the new establishment located in Kill Devil Hills, adjacent to Noosa Beach Grille.

Noosa Scoops OBX is set to delight residents and visitors alike with a tantalizing menu that features an array of delicious acai bowls, delectable coffee drinks, and an impressive selection of 24 ice cream flavors. The décor is bright and inviting, including a backyard that features picnic tables and twinkle lights.

The ceremony was introduced by Nick Graham from Standard Insurance, who is the Outer Banks Chamber Chair-Elect. Graham had the honor of introducing the ownership group behind Noosa Scoops OBX, Daniel and Alyssa Saunders; Rob and Suzie Stanovsek; Shelby Stanovsek and Hunter Breeden. Both Daniel and Rob expressed their enthusiasm for their new venture and their deep appreciation for the supportive Outer Banks community. They also shared their excitement about continuing their entrepreneurial journey in the area, building on their previous success with Noosa Beach Grille, which has been a beloved local spot for the past three years.

The ribbon-cutting was a memorable event, with the entrepreneurs cutting the ribbon just moments before a torrential downpour—a true Outer Banks rite of passage that added a touch of local charm to the celebration.

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce extends its congratulations and best wishes to Noosa Scoops OBX. We encourage everyone to visit this new gem in the community and experience the delightful offerings firsthand.
