No one hurt after children’s train cart tips over at Nags Head Church

No one was hurt in an accident involving a children’s train ride at Nags Head Church Saturday night.

Nags Head police and fire crews were dispatched to Nags Head Church, at 105 West Soundside Road, at approximately 6:43 p.m., according to a town new release.

A 65-year-old male from Kill Devil Hills was riding with his grandson in a cart that tipped over.

The grandchild, who was uninjured, was able to get out of the cart without assistance. The grandfather was able to remove himself from the cart with assistance from first responders.

The man was checked out by Dare County EMS at the scene andreleased shortly afterwards.
