Martin Alan Kruelle, 62, of Corolla North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2021.
Marty was born on March 24, 1959, to Fred and Constance Kruelle in Washington D.C. Marty grew up in Potomac, Maryland.
Marty earned his first pilot’s license at age 14 and first solo flight certification at the age of 16. He graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree as a Commercial Flight Pilot.
At a young age, Marty grew his landscaping business GRASSMASTERS OF ENVIRONMENTAL EXPRESSIONS INC, in Montgomery County, Maryland. He operated GRASSMASTERS for decades serving the Montgomery County clientele.
Marty loved the wild and quiet beaches of Outer Banks, moving there in 2008.
Marty was a talented businessman. He operated a vacation rental business JUST A FLUKE, in the Outer Banks. His business provided a lot of good memories for guests across the country.
Marty was a pilot at heart. While living in Outer Banks, he joined Outer Banks Airlines as a pilot and flew part time with Dillon’s Aviation in Greenville, North Carolina.
Marty loved both flying and riding. He was actively engaged with both Outer Banks and Space Coast Florida Harley groups.
Marty departed as a fine friend to a lot of people. He was such a gentleman as he would always help people whenever they needed it. Marty loved animals and was predeceased by his dogs, Tasha and Simon.
Marty is survived by his mother Constance Kruelle, his brother Mark Kruelle, his sister Marlene Kruelle, his girlfriend Liezl Yap Moralde, one uncle and many cousins. A private family service will be held at a later date.
