On January 19, 2021, Martha Ann Midgett Beasley, 75, of Wanchese, NC passed away in Norfolk, VA.
Marty, as she was best known, was born October 18, 1945, to the late George Lewis and Beatrice
Midgett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Sheldon, Claude, Jackson and Ronnie Midgett; and her sisters; Carolyn Johnson and Laura Jones.
Marty is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Henry Roscoe Beasley and their children; Mike Beasley, Brent Beasley (Christie), all of Wanchese, NC and Melanie Young (Norman) of Edenton, NC; and her siblings; Isaac Midgett, Janice Tillett, Beatrice Midgett and Betty Duncan. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and two great- grandchildren whom she cherished and lived for.
The family is honoring Marty’s preference for cremation and they are planning a private memorial service for a future time.
