Mariah was born Portsmouth Virginia and resided in Suffolk VA for 22 years before relocating to Shawboro, NC. Mariah is a 2012 Graduate of Kings Fork High School. She was previously employed at Sentara Obici Hospital as a Sterile Processing Tech. Mariah was fascinated by Astronomy and spent many hours studying the stars. You could always expect to find her reading a book on the topic. Mariah was never a person to turn her back on a friend in need. No matter what, how big or small your problem was she was always willing to drop everything she was doing to help her friends.
Mariah never failed to see the good in people and encouraged them to become the best person they could be. Her laugh was contagious and had a smile would bring joy to anyone that saw it. Mariah was an avid UFC fight fan and would often watch with friends and family. You could always count on her falling asleep right before the main event. When Mariah was not with her friends and family you could expect her to be consumed in her music. She loved attending concerts and was looking forward to attending more in the future. She never focused on a specific type of music and listened to Country, Pop, Punk, Heavy Metal and everything in between. You never knew what was going to be playing when she was in control of the radio in a car. She is gone way before her time and will be missed by many friends and family. She will always be with us and you can rest assured that she will be watching over everyone until we can meet again. Mariah will be the brightest star in sky if you ever need to talk.
