Maria Virginia “Ginger” Tramontano, 77, longtime resident of Manteo, NC, died Monday, February 4, 2021, at Currituck Health & Rehab Center.
Born in New Jersey on November 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Viola Molitor and Victor J. Kaufman.
Ginger was the owner and operator of Downtown Manteo’s The Green Dolphin Restaurant and Pub. She loved dogs and enjoyed reading and visiting the Old Swimming Hole.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn T. Beacham of Manteo, NC; and son, Robert Tramontano II of Asbury Park, NJ.
A celebration of Ginger’s life will be held at the Old Swimming Hole in the future with details to be announced.
