Linwood “Woody” Ray Pegram, II, age 37, of Elizabeth City, NC died on Friday, July 1, 2022 at his home. He was born in Pasquotank County, NC on August 12, 1984 to Joanna McPherson Forbes and the late Linwood Ray Pegram, I. Woody was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved to golf and spend time with friends and family. He enjoyed working with his hands in construction and mechanics.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Burnette Forbes; a daughter, Addison Renee Pegram; a son, Elliott James Pegram; three sisters, Katie Ferrell (Brandon) of Shawboro, NC, Sarah Stinnette (Sy) of Camden, NC, and Erin Forbes (Destiny) of Elizabeth City, NC; and a brother, Brian Forbes (Morgan) of Lake Butler, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with Pastor Wayne Wood officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/TwifordFuneralHome.
