Linda Ann Clemens Weisgerber

Linda Ann Clemens Weisgerber, 81, of Nags Head, NC, passed away Wednesday evening, July 22, 2020, at home, surrounded by family.

Linda was born in Defiance, Ohio, on April 25, 1939, to the late Donald Walter Clemens and Ruth Virginia Gearing Clemens. Linda was an active member of Holy Redeemer By-the-Sea Catholic Church and a former coach for Special Olympics Dare County. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a great friend. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing cards. Linda never knew a stranger and loved nothing more than entertaining a house full of friends and family.

Linda is survived by her husband Bill, of the residence. They were blessed with over 60 years together. Also left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Karen Weisgerber White (Preston), of Whiteville; Kathy Weisgerber Winstead Carden (CR), of Nags Head; and Kristine Weisgerber Griffin (Ralph), of Morehead City; a son, Jeffrey William Weisgerber, of Nags Head; eight grandchildren, Vincent Connor Winstead, Jr., of Palmyra, VA; John William Winstead (McCaela McConnell), of Kill Devil Hills; Nicholas Barton Price, of Greenville; Natalie Clemens Price, of Whiteville; Jackson William Weisgerber, of Nags Head; Ann Hadley Griffin, of Morehead City; Ralph Fike Griffin, Jr., of Morehead City; and Peyton Grace Weisgerber, of Nags Head; one brother, David Walter Clemens (Barb), of Lima, OH; two sisters, Janice Clemens Washer, of Tavares, FL; Virginia Clemens Westhoven (Vince), of Harrisburg, PA; numerous nieces and nephews; her faithful canine companion, Inka; and many friends and neighbors.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Holy Redeemer By-the-Sea Catholic Church by Rev. Dr. William F. Walsh, osfs. Inurnment at St. Therese Catholic Church in Wilson will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation, Special Olympics Dare County, or Holy Redeemer By-the-Sea Parish.
