Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CHNSS) recently announced that lifeguard stands have been placed at the following locations:
- Coquina Beach
- Old Lighthouse Beach
- Frisco Beach
- Ocracoke Beach
Lifeguards will stationed at these beaches beginning Saturday, May 28 through Monday, September 5, 2022. Visitors are always encouraged to swim near a lifeguard whenever possible due to the prevalence of rip currents.
