The community is invited to two Christmas season events being hosted by Liberty Christian Fellowship, located at 244 Williams Drive in Colington.
A Christmas program entitled “A New Beginning” will be presented Friday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. The church will also hold a traditional Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service on Dec. 24 at 5 p.m.
Liberty’s fourth annual Christmas program is suitable for all ages, says coordinator Leah Budde, and will include dance, worship and drama featuring Liberty’s worship team and children’s, youth and adult ladies’ dance and drama ministries, together “sharing the good news of Jesus’ birth in a fun, yet worshipful and celebratory way.”
Noting that the program’s theme is “new beginnings,” Budde adds that her prayer is that all who come to the program “will be filled with new joy and new hope and know that there is a new beginning waiting for them in Jesus!”
To get to the church, follow Colington Road for 2.9 miles, then turn left on Williams Drive, one block past the Colington Volunteer Fire Department.
