Laura Gay Roberts Carr, age 55, of Moyock, NC died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home.
Born in Portsmouth, VA on May 5, 1965 to Frances P. Anderson Roberts and the late Clarence Gay Roberts, Jr., she was the wife of Randy Duane Carr of the residence. Laura loved her grandchildren and fur babies. She loved music, especially Kid Rock, and was a member of his fan club.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Christopher Brandon Poole (Sarah) of Irmo, SC; a brother, Stephen M. Roberts (Mary Anne) of Roanoke, VA; and two grandchildren, Phoenix and River Poole.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021at Moyock Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Davin Phillips officiating.
