Kitty Hawk Fire Department partners with Red Cross for Smoke Alarm Program

Home fires claim seven lives every day, but you can help change that. Join the national movement and pledge to keep your family safe by taking 2 simple steps: Practice your 2 minute drill and test your smoke alarms monthly.

This spring, the American Red Cross and the Kitty Hawk Fire Department are teaming up to make homes safer.

To request a free Smoke Alarm installation, Kitty Hawk residents and property owners can call the Kitty Hawk Fire Department at 252-261-2666 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. between now and April 8.
