Anglers are enjoying another good red drum bite this afternoon off the end of Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head.
Also hitting the deck are small speckled trout, gray trout, flounder, sea mullet, black drum, spot and bluefish.
Friday and this weekend, the pier is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Starting Monday, Nov. 1, however, the hours switch to 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The ocean water temperature Thursday morning was 66 degrees.
