Kill Devil Hills National Night Out set for Aug. 6

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign, which promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and better places to visit, work and live.

The Town of Kill Devil Hills, with its police and fire Departments, hots its big National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 5-8 p.m. at Lowe’s parking lot, 1500 North Croatan Highway.

The Kill Devil Hills Police Department will also be hosting a blood drive, before and during the event, from 2–7 p.m.

Night out festivities include free food and drinks, the U.S. Coast Guard, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, OBX SPCA $5 Rabies Clinic, Outer Banks Hotline, N.C. Forest Service Airplane, public safety vehicles, Outer Banks Hospital blood pressure checks, DARE Casa, Dare Devil’s Players and more.
