The Kill Devil Hills Fire Department and Ocean Rescue Division are seeking information on the individual(s) responsible for moving two lifeguard stands from their location on the beach to the roadway.
The lifeguard stands are located at the Hayman Blvd. and Helga Street beach accesses. The Fire Department notes in a Tuesday morning Facebook post that these stands are extremely heavy and cumbersome; moving these stands back to their location could cause unnecessary injury to staff.
