Beginning this morning, Monday, May 13, several amenities at the Kill Devil Hills’s Aviation Park will be temporarily closed while enhancements are being made.
Electrical construction will be occurring at the town’s skate park, as light poles are being installed. Heavy machinery and other equipment will be onsite, and as a safety measure some facilities at the Park will be unavailable to the public, including the parking lot, the skate park, the roller hockey rink, the playground and the bathrooms.
Residents will still be able to access the Frog Pond and its fitness trail, by parking at Town Hall. Closures are expected to last approximately four days, weather permitting.
