Karen Suzanne (Conard) Folb, born March 1, 1954 passed away peacefully at her home in Buxton, NC on October 4, 2021.
Karen was born in McPherson, KS to parents Jay Conard and Bonnie (Wegley) Conard and moved to Attica, KS around age 8 where she and her brother Brad lived with their aunt and uncle, Denny and Eileen Conard.
After graduating from high school in 1972, Karen moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she lived for 13 years and met her beloved husband Reece who preceded her in death. Karen and Reece moved to Buxton after he retired where she was a Special Ed teacher for 28 years before retiring in 2017.
Graveside services will be held at the Quidley Cemetery in Buxton on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 1:30 pm. There will be a more elaborate obituary and celebration of life service for Karen at a later date and location to be determined plus information on where to send flowers or make donations to her favorite charities. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
