Karen Louise Daniels, 55, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Manteo, NC, died Friday, November 8, 2019, at WakeMed.
Born in Portsmouth, VA on February 22, 1964, she was the daughter of Imogene Shannon Daniels of Manteo, NC and the late Arnold Barron “Top” Daniels.
At an early age, Karen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She most recently attended The Source Church. With a desire to take care of others, she spent her career as a licensed practical nurse.
In addition to her mother, Karen is survived by three children, Kristi Gray, Nathan Harrell, and Imogene “Genie” Blackburn; five grandchildren; and one brother, Kevin Daniels (Ruby).
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
