John Michael Sullens, age 74 of Holly Drive, Elizabeth City, NC died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA.
A native of Baltimore, MD, he was born May 2, 1945 to the late William R. Sullens and Anna R. Sullens and was the husband of Sharon L. Sullens. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Army and then had a career in the Federal Government for over 20 years as a Technical Operations Officer.
In addition to Sharon, his wife of 54 years, he is survived by a son, Scott Sullens and wife Geraldine Sullens and a grandson, Sean Sullens all of Elizabeth City, NC. Also survived by sisters, Regina Cather, Dorothy Young, and Martha Harthousen as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
