Jane Griffith Langford, 77 of Elyria died Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at her home following a brief illness. She was born June 11, 1944 in Charleston, WV to the late Robert and Millie Webb Griffith. She was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Jane especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Lindsey; son, Ellsworth Langford; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Sue Toney, Diana Workman, and Lisa Bishop; brothers, Tom Griffith and Rev. F. Joe Griffith; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” in 2010; sister, Betty Dotson; and brothers, Robert, Ed, and John Griffith.
The family will receive friends Monday April 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria. The Rev. F. Joe Griffith, Jane’s brother, will Officiate. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
