Island Free Press: Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department asks for help identifying larceny suspect

The Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a series of larcenies from their station last week.

Shortly after midnight on both July 15 and 16, a young man rode his bike to the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station in Hatteras village, and entered into the station through a window. He was then observed going through the apparatus, and stealing medical supplies and some other items two nights in a row.

If you were here on vacation last week, and you saw this person or you know who he is, please contact the Hatteras Volunteer Fire Station via Facebook at, or call Dare Community Crimeline at 252-475-3111.
