The intersection of West Soundside Road and U.S. 158 in Nags Head will be closed starting around 8 a.m. on Tuesday to complete work on water lines in the area just south of Jockey’s Ridge.
A detour via Deering Street is in place during the closure. Town officials said they plan to reopen the intersection by Friday.
This project is not related to relocation of water lines along South Croatan Highway in Nags Head as part of several multi-use path expansion projects.
