Operation Love Thy Neighbor will distribute Food Lion gift cards to residents in Corolla and Knotts Island who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will begins at 9:30 a.m., with a first-come, drive-thru format at the Corolla Fire Rescue Station, 827 Whalehead Dr., and Knotts Island Fire Station, 327 Knotts Island Rd.
Cooperative Extension will also hand out activity packets for children, seeds, planting guides and healthy recipes.
