Applications now accepted for Careers in Conservation Scholarship Program

The North Carolina Foundation for Soil and Water Conservation is currently accepting applications for its Careers in Conservation Scholarship Program.

This scholarship program encourages students to pursue careers in natural resource management, and applicants are expected to have a declared major in one of the following fields of study: agronomy, agricultural engineering, agriculture sustainability, agriculture education, animal science, forestry, natural resource conservation or management, plant science, soil science, water management, water quality, wildlife management or another closely related degree program.

All students who are enrolled in a natural resource-related degree track at a North Carolina university, college or community college as of the fall 2021 semester are eligible to apply. 

The deadline for scholarship applications to be received is 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021. Only online applications will be accepted.
