Kill Devil Hills – Helen G. Outland passed away peacefully on May 4, 2021 in Nags Head, NC.
She was the loving mother of son Donald Outland of Edenton, daughter, Brenda O. Yerkes of Kill Devil Hills, granddaughter, Dionne O. Castro of California, and grandson, Gavin Outland of Edenton, NC.
Helen and late husband, Graham raised their family in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach but moved to the Outer Banks in the late 70’s and remained there for over 20 years. She enjoyed a long, healthy life and was known for her quick wit and kind heart. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach at noon.
