The Dare County Library has announced that the Hatteras Library, which is located at 57689 N.C. Highway 12 in Hatteras Village, will be closed to the public on Friday, November 8, 2024 while the Dare County Water Department performs repairs to the system that will require water service to the facility to be shut off until the repairs are completed.
During this temporary closure, patrons are encouraged to visit the library’s websitefor access to digital resources or to contact the Kill Devil Hills Library or Manteo Library branches for any immediate needs.
The Hatteras Library will reopen to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 and operate with its regularly scheduled Saturday hours of 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dare County Library staff appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as these necessary repairs are completed!
