Mikey Sabadic of Island Life Outfitters captured video of a whale about 75 feet off the beach in Kitty Hawk over the weekend — with an amazing ending.
Whale sightings are relatively common this time of year, as humpbacks migrate north after wintering in the Caribbean.
Sabadic, who runs Island Life Outfitters charter service, says he was just “in the right place at the right time.”
