A total of 71 boats have registered to fish for a purse of $696,025 in cash awards in the 36th Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament.
According to TournamentControl.com’s cash distribution sheet issued Monday night, a boat that enters all five billfish categories in the tournament, brings a qualifying blue marlin to the dock that is the heaviest weighed-in and finishes in first place in the overall standings, could potentially win $271,541.25.
