Gallery exhibit, film screening postponed until Feb. 21

Due to flooding in downtown Manteo, First Friday festivities at Dare County Arts Council have been rescheduled.

In addition, the opening reception for Janet Pierce’s exhibit “Moments Of Light And Color” and the special film screening of Glenn Eure’s Stations of the Cross will now take place on Third Friday, February 21, beginning at 5:30 pm.

Janet Pierce’s exhibit, featuring her paintings, will open at Dare County Arts Council in Manteo at 6 p.m. on Feb. 21. The reception is free and open to the public.

A special screening of the CurrentTV documentary short film, “Glenn Eure’s Stations of the Cross,” will air at 5:30 p.m. at the arts council in Manteo.
