From the COO: News Talk Radio 92.3 WZPR offers a unique platform

I’m reaching out to you from OBXToday and News Talk Radio 92.3 WZPR with Sam Walker.

As the only live and local broadcast news program on the Outer Banks, we are in a unique position to inform, educate and speak directly to our residents in a way not possible anywhere else.

As the country is dealing with the pandemic; Sam Walker has the local perspective from Governor Roy Cooper and the local health directors telling our audience where Dare and Currituck Counties (and northeastern North Carolina) are in terms of active cases and how we’re doing compared to the rest of the state.

Sam also gives our residents regular updates regarding vaccines, where our neighbors can get vaccinated and the schedule of who is eligible next.

Sam talks about local, state and government politics with guests and stories that only affect our area. When someone is in trouble, like the fires on Hatteras Island or the devastation from hurricanes, Sam encourages listeners to donate to the cause that has helped so many local families get through very tough times.

Where am I going with this you might ask?

Given our extremely unique content to the Outer Banks, we can help you promote your local business to our local dedicated and loyal audience by being a sponsor of the OBXToday morning show with Sam Walker from 7am-9am Monday through Friday on 92.3 WZPR.

We have many ways for you to be a sponsor at very affordable prices. We can even include FB live and OBXToday.com that had 12.5 MILLION pageviews in 2020.

With all that’s going on in our country, people are tuning into news programs now MORE THAN EVER; and at News Talk 92.3, LOCAL the residents are tuning into US.

You can reach me anytime at either sborneman@jammedllc.com or my cell at 732-245-7724.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email and I look forward to speaking with you very soon!

Sincerely,

Steve Borneman
