Tax season is just around the corner, and if you’d like free assistance with preparing your taxes, the AARP Foundation Tax Aide Program currently has appointments available at the Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills.
The AARP Foundation Tax Aide Program offers free tax preparation to provide assistance to everyone—with a focus on taxpayers who are over the age of 50 and who have a low to moderate income. Appointments will be scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning February.
