A triple dose of tropical activity continued Monday, as Tropical Storm Fred moved onshore along the Florida Panhandle, Tropical Depression Grace brought more misery to Haiti and Tropical Storm Henri formed southeast of Bermuda.
The only threat expected from any of the three systems for the Outer Banks are increased waves and deadly rip currents later this week.
The National Hurricane Center began issuing advisories Sunday night after a small well-defined low pressure system that was located northeast of the Bermuda gained tropical characteristics.
Henri is forecast to take a lap around the island nation located 655 miles east-southeast of Cape Hatteras, and will likely produce long period swell that is conducive to creating rip currents all along the Outer Banks ahead of the weekend.
Tropical Storm Henri has formed SE of Bermuda. The CENTER of Henri is expected to remain well offshore this week, with local impacts primarily increased swell and rip current risk along area beaches.

Tropical Storm Fred made landfall at 2:15 p.m. at Cape San Blas, Florida, on the northeast Florida Panhandle with maximum sustained winds are estimated to be near 65 mph.
Fred is forecast to degenerate into a tropical depression as it moves up the Appalachians on Tuesday and Wednesday with heavy rains that could cause landslides along the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Tropical Depression Grace has been moving along the southern coast of Hispanola, and heavy rains have exacerbated an already desperate situation in Haiti which was hit by a 7.2 earthquake on Saturday that killed more than 1,400 people.
Grace is forecast to make its way across the Caribbean, the Yucatan Peninsula, southern Gulf of Mexico and into central Mexico.
