The First Friday of May has arrived and Downtown Manteo has an array of exciting events planned for the occasion this month.
Those who join the Dare County Arts Council at 300 Queen Elizabeth Ave will enjoy art exhibition openings in the Vault Gallery with the likes of Chip Freund and Courtroom Gallery for the 25th Mollie Fearing Memorial Art Show.
Live music will also fill the air at a number of locations featuring the following:

- Old Tom Street: Steve Hauser
- Nouvines: Toolan & Evans
- Poor Richards: Tim & Woody
- Lost Colony Brewery: Jessica Diaz
The fun kicks off at 6 p.m. and lasts through 8 p.m on Friday, May 6th.
