3. Three presidents who signed the Declaration of Independence died on July 4th.

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the same day, July 4, 1826. Exactly 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. James Monroe passed away 5 years later on July 4, 1831.

4. Over $1 billion is spent on fireworks in America every year.

According to the American Pyrotechnics Association, the numbers continue to grow year over year.
