Extension Master Gardener Volunteers announce two-day indoor plant sale

[N.C. Cooperative Extension/Submitted]

Not only do houseplants add a splash of color to your home, but they’ve proven to be an instant mood booster, and they do wonders for your overall well-being.

Owning houseplants can reduce psychological and physiological stress, aid concentration, and increase productivity. Plus, houseplants act like natural air purifiers, helping clean indoor air by reducing toxins.

The N.C. Cooperative Extension Currituck County Master Gardener VolunteersSM invite you to our 2023 winter indoor plant sale. The plant sale will take place in the greenhouse located behind the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center on Friday, January 27, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. and Saturday, January 28, from 10:00 to 2:00 pm.

Plants for sale will include succulents, indoor tropical plants, and hypertufa arrangements.

All proceeds will go towards the enhancement of the demonstration gardens, educational programs, and outreach activities of the Currituck Master Gardener program. Gardening experts will also be on hand to provide free planting advice, care,  and any additional customer questions.

If you have additional questions, or if you need accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Chris Blaha at (252) 232-2261 or by email at ctblaha@ncsu.edu.
