Exciting array of summer events lined up for 2022 in Historic Corolla Park!

Save the date! The Currituck County Department of Travel & Tourism is planning an exciting lineup of summer events in Historic Corolla Park for the 2022 season. From cornhole, to crafts, and even yoga, there is something for everyone to partake in! Check out what’s to be featured on the scenic grounds of the iconic Whalehead museum in the coming months.

  • Yoga in the Park >
    Thursdays: June 2 – September 1 (7:00am-8:00am) – FREE TO PARTICIPATE!
    Breathe in, breathe out and sign up for a FREE 60-minute yoga class, every Thursday this summer. Stretch your body and restore your soul at one of the most breathtaking locations on the Outer Banks.

 

  • Corolla Cornhole Tournaments >
    Wednesdays: June 15 – September 14 (4:00pm-7:00pm)
    Compete in our annual cornhole tournament, every Wednesday this summer, for a chance to win a Currituck Outer Banks vacation provided by Brindley Beach Vacations. The cost to register a team and participate is $20.

 

  • Corolla Cork & Craft >
    Wednesdays: June 15 – September 14 (3:00pm-7:00pm)
    Relax, taste and shop every Wednesday this summer! Enjoy award-winning wine and beer, as well as the opportunity to shop from local crafters, tour Whalehead, enjoy food from local vendors, or simply relax and enjoy live music along the Currituck Sound. Admission is $15 per person to participate in the wine and beer tastings; there is no cost to enjoy the music and attend the event.

 

  • Under the Oaks Art Festival >
    Tuesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 22 (10:00am-5:00pm) – FREE TO ATTEND!
    Enjoy fine art and curated crafts from over 50 local and regional artists. Food vendors will be onsite and a silent auction will be held during this free two-day event.

 

  • Independence Day Celebration >
    Monday, July 4 (5:00pm-9:00pm) – FREE TO ATTEND!
    Gather your family and friends and celebrate Independence Day on the Outer Banks! Enjoy local food, wine and beer… and enjoy the sounds of one of the most dynamic bands on the east coast.
