Ellis Ray Williams, a beloved brother, and friend, passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 61. He was born on October 25, 1961, in Norfolk, VA.
Ellis was a skilled mechanic for a salvage yard.
Ellis lived the life he wanted to live. He had a big heart and would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ellis will be deeply missed by his family and friends, whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, Robert James Crockett and Daphne Anne Ellis Crockett, as well as his brothers, Ennis Williams, Steve Williams, and Mark Williams.
Ellis is survived by his sisters, Deborah Pennington of Barco, NC, and Ada McPherson (Danny) of Chesapeake, VA, along with a large extended family.
A private family service will be held at a later date to honor Ellis’s life and legacy. Rest in peace, Ellis. You will be dearly missed by all who knew you.
