The following beach nourishment update was released by the Town of Duck on Tuesday, May 2, 2023:
Weeks Marine continues to work south on the Dianne Street subline. The Magdalen left on Friday, April 28 to refuel in Norfolk and returned after a short weather delay on Monday, May 1. As of today, the completed section is between Whistling Swan Drive and Skimmer Way, however the section between Widgeon Drive and Whistling Swan Drive is closed. The project is slated to be completed late- May. Please obey all posted construction signage and remember that all schedules are subject to change based on several factors.
There will be a Beach Nourishment update meeting on Wednesday, May 3 at 1:30 pm in the Paul F Keller Meeting Hall. You are welcome to attend in-person or via Zoom. Please click here for meeting information.
