The Dare County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday announced the arrests of five men on drug and other charges during three separate traffic stops across the Outer Banks.
— On September 3, 2020, at approximately 12:27 am, Dare County Sheriff’s Office A-District Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding near mile post 4 and Highway 158 in Kitty Hawk, NC. During the traffic stop the Deputy was given consent to search the vehicle. During the search the Deputy located an THC cartridge’s, Marijuana and a scale.
Isaac Obed Abrishami-Azar, M/23, 3900 block Fairfax Drive, Merrifield, VA, was arrested and charged with (F) PWISD Marijuana and (F) Possession of a Scheduled VI controlled substance. Abrishami-Azar was released on a $5,000 secured bond.
— On September 4, 2020, at approximately 11:00 pm, Dare County Sheriff’s Office A-District Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 1000 block of Colington Rd, Colington, NC. During the traffic stop a Kill Devil Hills K-9 alerted to the presence of an illegal controlled substance.
During the search of the vehicle an amount of Cocaine and drug paraphernalia were located and seized. Michael William Capizzi, M/60, 90 block of Marshy Ridge Rd, Colington, NC, was arrested and charged with (F) Possession of Cocaine and was released on a $20,000 secured bond.
— On September 8, 2020, at approximately 11:46 pm, Dare County Sheriff’s Office B-District Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of William and Mary Way and Highway 64, Roanoke Island, NC. During the traffic stop a Dare County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted on the vehicle for the presence of an illegal controlled substance.
During the search of the vehicle an amount of Cocaine, Crack Cocaine, Marijuana, US Currency, a Digital Scale, Remington .22 caliber Rifle with defaced serial number and a box .22 caliber of bullets were located and seized.
Raleigh Recardo Jennings, M/33, 100 block Mackey Ferry Rd, Plymouth, NC, was charged with (F) PWISD Cocaine, (F) Possession of a Firearm with Altered Serial Number, (M) Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Jennings is being held under a $15,000 secured bond.
Tobias Latrell Clagon, M/31, 300 block of NC Hwy 45 N, Plymouth, NC, was charged with (F) PWISD Cocaine, (F) Possession of a Firearm with Altered Serial Number, (F) Possession of Firearm by Felon, (M) Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and being held under a $15,000 secured bond.
Baron James Pedreira, M/29, 200 block of Winesett, Plymouth, NC, was charged with (F) PWISD Cocaine, (F) Possession of a Firearm with Altered Serial Number, (M) Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and being held under a $10,000 secured bond.
