Dare County Health and Human Services reported four new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, for a total of 66 since testing began in March.
The latest cases include:
A female resident 18-24 years of age, home isolation
A female resident 17 – years of age, home isolation
A female non-resident 50-64 years of age, isolating in Dare
A male Resident 25-49 years of age, home isolation
Since June 19, the county has seen 22 new COVID-19 cases, prompting a mandatory mask order in indoor and outdoor situations where social distancing isn’t possible. The county is seeing 150,000 to 200,000 visitors each week.
As of yesterday, the county’s positive rate to number of tests this week was 4.33 percent.
