Brianne Clark-Perry has been named Dare County Parks and Recreation’s 2020 Roanoke Island/Mainland Division Volunteer of the year.

Perry started off serving as the secretary for the Babe Ruth League for two years. When the league was in need of new leadership, she stepped in and served as its president for the next two years.

Each night there was a game, she was there helping in some way by either running the concession stand or just making sure things were running smoothly and stepping in to help when needed.

During this past year when the spring season was cancelled due to COVID-19, she was able to organize another league in the fall.

She has since stepped down as president but is still volunteering her time with the league.

We thank Brianne Clark-Perry for her service to the youth in our community.
